When programing, do you take the the source of the programming language into consideration?
Should the weight of the language, being either proprietary or open source, effect your decision in choosing a programing language and/or method on entering into a new programing project?
Yes, ofcourse. Because it depends on what kind of project you are in? Is your budget sufficient? There are many factors which weight the language apart from its source like its, size, its application(project). There may be many features in proprietary lang. but if you have all requirements fulfilled with open-source then why go for proprietor’s languages??
